This photo is one of my favorites. I took it about this time last year at Michael Dunbar's "Windsor Chair Institute" in Hampton NH. We were learning how to "leg up" a chair and were about to key the legs by driving a hardwood wedge into a slit in the top of each leg so it would embed itself into the soft pine seat. It was a wonderful time and a lot of hardwork. As I dig through my pictures I am sure I will come across a few more. This week has been very busy at both stores. Layton has been working on a very large bent lamination.... Sixteen Feet! Joe in Millsboro has been ripping mahogany to width for a customer and is about to bore a lot of holes in some landscape timbers on a piece work basis. He also needs to start building a table for our Panhans tablesaw.
